Disability Law Service (DLS) was delighted to be shortlisted as a finalist in the inaugural Advising Londoner Awards, receiving nominations in both the Best Staff Team and Best Individual categories.
The awards ceremony took place on Tuesday 18 November at Clifford Chance, and was delivered by University House in partnership with the Advice Services Alliance. The event brought together advice organisations from across London to celebrate excellence, dedication and impact in the advice sector.
Although DLS did not take home an award on the night, we were extremely proud to be recognised in these categories. Being shortlisted reflects the exceptional commitment, skill and compassion of our staff, and the vital work they do every day to support Deaf and disabled people to access justice.
We were honoured to be part of such a positive and inspiring celebration of organisations providing crucial advice services to Londoners, and we would like to congratulate all of the winners and fellow finalists.
Thank you to University House and the Advice Services Alliance for hosting a wonderful event and for shining a spotlight on the importance of advice services across the capital.
