This year’s campaign focuses on celebrating the advice workforce and highlighting the vital role advisers play in supporting people facing urgent and often life-changing problems. We were proud that DLS staff featured in the campaign’s thought-provoking film, sharing their experiences of working in the advice sector and the importance of investing in a skilled, supported and sustainable workforce.
We were also pleased that one of our clients was featured in the campaign’s real-life case studies, helping to illustrate the powerful difference that timely, specialist advice can make to people’s lives.
Advice Week 2025 launches alongside a renewed call for government action to support the advice sector, including the development of a national workforce plan to grow, train and retain advisers. Through films and case studies from organisations across England, Scotland and Wales, the Advice Saves campaign makes a compelling case for investment in training, career pathways and long-term sustainability.
We are grateful to be part of a campaign that not only showcases the dedication of advice workers, but also amplifies the voices of those who rely on advice services every day. We encourage everyone to take a few minutes to watch the film and explore the case studies to see first-hand how advice saves lives.
