In addition to the regular training courses we provide at our London office, we can arrange training in your area, to help you access training that is:

We can offer our standard half-day training sessions in the following subjects:
Community Care Law
Welfare Benefits, including Appeals
Mental Capacity Act
Disability Equality Duty
Discrimination in Employment
Discrimination in access to goods, services and facilities
We are also happy to discuss other training needs you might have, and can design training sessions to fit particular requirements
Ways of Accessing Training
We want to be flexible in delivering training, so that as many people as possible can gain the benefit of our expertise in disability law, and therefore reach as many disabled people as possible.
There are a number of ways we can deliver training in your area:
- We can train up to 20 people in your organisation; you provide the venue and invite the participants; we charge a standard fee of £400 (plus VAT and travel) for a half day course (for standard topics)
- If you haven’t got enough people in your organisation that need training, or cannot afford the full fee yourselves, you can follow the above model but invite people from other organisations in your area to join you for the training
- If neither of these models are appropriate for you, you can let us know of your interest, and we will try and arrange a training session that you can reach in your region
We can also discuss designing specific courses to meet your needs (cost will vary with amount of preparation time involved).
